Vietnam SAVE-project has been finished

In October 2007 finished the project SAVE – Study an prevention measures on traffic Accident in Vietnam and Europe. The project SAVE - Study and prevention measures on traffic Accident in Vietnam and Europe is a joint cooperation project between the University of Greifswald (Germany), the University of Pécs (Hungary), and the Medical University of Thai Binh (Vietnam). The partnership project was financed by the European Commission in Vietnam in the framework of the EU-Programme Asia-Link and managed by B B J C o n s u l t A G .

The Aim of this project was to tackle the big problem of traffic accidents in Vietnam. Through a co-operation among the involved medical universities, focusing in particular on traffic accident prevention and training in emergency medicine the project contributed to the reduction of traffic accidents and improvement of a medical emergency support.
